Project 34; Black, White and Gray as colours.

Black;

Average exposure on the meter. 290 or 300 in photoshop.

White;

the above is the first in the series, taken at the average reading on the meter. It appears more gray than white. There is a blue colour cast. The reading in photoshop is about 256 on the liminosity scale.

More grey than white again but light grey. In photoshop checking the colour, the square becomes more white from left to right. The readings are just under 253 on the left and just over on the right hand side. It is also becomes more white from bottom to top. There seems to be a slight blue or violet colour cast.

Again Light grey rather than white. Reading in photoshop is between 248 on the bottom right and 259 on the top right. Again a slight blue colour cast.

Still grey. The reading is 253 in photoshop.

Grey;

249 in photoshop so technically not grey!

290 in photoshop. one stop higher.

Another stop higher. No big difference in hue, around 290 to 298.
